Terms of Service
Last updated: June 6, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HuskMail ("the Service", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What HuskMail is
HuskMail provides free, temporary, receive-only email inboxes intended to help users shield their primary email address from spam, phishing, and tracking when signing up for third-party services. Inboxes are created without identity verification, have no recovery mechanism, and are intended for short-term, low-stakes use.
The Service is provided free of charge on a best-effort basis. It is offered "AS IS" without any warranties, express or implied.
2. Receive-only
HuskMail addresses can only receive email. You cannot send email from a HuskMail address. Any attempt to use the Service to send, relay, or originate outbound email is prohibited and impossible by design.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use HuskMail to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third party's rights.
- Receive content that you know or should reasonably know is illegal in your jurisdiction or the United States (including child sexual abuse material, content that incites violence, terrorist content, or content infringing intellectual property).
- Evade bans, abuse promotional offers, commit fraud, conduct account takeovers, harass others, or impersonate any person or entity.
- Bypass any security or authentication mechanism of any third-party service.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise compromise the Service.
- Create inboxes in volumes intended to facilitate spam, fraud, or other large-scale automated abuse.
You are solely responsible for how you use HuskMail addresses and for all consequences arising from your use.
4. No identity, no recovery
We collect no identity information when you create an inbox. There is no way to recover an inbox if you lose the address or password — both are shown to you once at creation and exist only in your browser's local storage and our database. Save them somewhere safe if you intend to log back in.
5. Mailbox lifetime, termination, and operator rights
Inboxes are intended to persist for as long as they remain active. However, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without notice, to:
- Delete any inbox and all messages contained in it after a period of inactivity, which will typically be 45 days but may be shorter or longer depending on operational needs.
- Suspend, terminate, or delete any inbox, message, or account at any time, for any reason, including (but not limited to) suspected abuse, legal requests, security incidents, or operational necessity.
- Refuse to accept or deliver any inbound message, including filtering messages we determine to be malicious or in violation of these Terms.
- Discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice.
You acknowledge that loss of inbox contents may occur at any time and that you should not rely on the Service for the storage or delivery of any important communication.
6. Not for sensitive communication
Do not use HuskMail for important, confidential, or sensitive communication. Anyone who knows or guesses an inbox address and password can log in and read its contents. HuskMail addresses are not intended for banking, healthcare, government, legal, or any other purpose where security, confidentiality, or message delivery matters.
7. Content received by you
We do not control the content sent to HuskMail addresses. We are not responsible for any message you receive. Some messages may be offensive, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful. If you receive such content, stop using the inbox and report it to us using the contact information below.
8. Reporting abuse
To report abuse — including spam originating from a HuskMail address (which should not be possible), fraudulent or phishing content sent to a HuskMail address, illegal content, intellectual-property complaints, or any other concern — email [email protected] with as much detail as possible (relevant addresses, headers, timestamps).
We respond to verified law-enforcement requests in accordance with applicable law.
9. Intellectual property
The HuskMail name, brand, and Service are owned by the operator. These Terms grant you no rights in our trademarks, code, or design.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete, or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will HuskMail, its operator, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — or any loss of profits, data, messages, business, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. Because the Service is provided free of charge, this will typically be US$100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HuskMail and its operator from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change indicates acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
15. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HuskMail regarding the Service.
